Once the only institution of higher learning in Kenya, the University of Nairobi (UON) offers approximately two hundred programmes and is committed to developing and evolving strong, diversified academic programmes and specializations in sciences, applied sciences, technology, humanities, social sciences and the arts.

Dr. Odada’s research interests include climate change adaptation, water quality monitoring, waste water treatment, studies of lakes and dams as archives of climatic and environmental dynamics, coastal and marine processes, sedimentary processes in large lakes and oceans and integrated water resource management.
